ABOUT SEIS
Systems Work, Built From
the Inside of the Work
SEIS was founded on the belief that most organizations doing hard, mission-driven work aren't missing vision or commitment. They're missing the systems that let that vision actually run day to day.
That belief comes from doing the work, not studying it from the outside. Before founding SEIS, our founder spent years inside organizations like the ones we work with now, building the operations, grant pipelines, hiring processes, and onboarding systems that keep a mission moving once the initial momentum wears off. That work took shape specifically in food systems, workforce development, and community based sustainability efforts, the kind of sectors where a strong team can still watch good work stall, not from lack of commitment, but because the systems underneath it were never built to carry the weight.
A project manager and systems thinker first, working in service of food, workforce development, and climate.
SEIS exists to bring that same operating discipline to organizations that don't have it in house yet, or that have outgrown the systems they started with.
MISSION
To build the systems that let strategy actually run: the partnerships, funding infrastructure, and operations mission driven organizations need to grow without breaking.
VISION
A future where organizations across food systems, workforce development, and community development are equipped with infrastructure that matches their ambition.
SEIS operates through an LLC alongside a separate social enterprise entity, structured so the consulting work and the mission-driven work each have the right home.
The work starts in Los Angeles, and the lens doesn't stop there. As SEIS grows, that same systems approach is meant to travel, with an eye toward future work in places like Mexico, Denmark, Southeast Asia, and Portugal.
